About Paula Minervino
A hospital stay as a child had a lasting impact on Paula Minervino, particularly the treatment she received from a nurse. She explains, “Her kindness stayed with me and drove me to want to be a nurse and help people at their most vulnerable times.” She loves getting to know patients on a personal level. “I think it is important to see people beyond their illness. My goal is to make them smile during their visit,” she says. She believes in “patient-focused” care. “I wanted to work in a place where patient care was a priority,” she says.
In her free time, Paula Minervino loves spending time with her husband, son, and dogs. She also likes visiting tropical places and is obsessed with flip-flops. She will even wear them in the snow!
