Our founder, Dr. Jenling James Chen, navigated the tumultuous waters of today’s health care system when he was diagnosed with cancer several years ago. Given only two months to live, Dr. Chen immersed himself in his treatment and had the chance to see what the experience was like from the patient’s point of view. That’s when he decided to make a difference. Now fully recovered, he has developed the ChenMed (Florida) and JenCare (Virginia) health care centers that offer one-stop primary and specialty care.
JenCare centers offer cutting-edge technology that includes use of Electronic Medical Records, a digital robotic pharmacy system and a Life Card – a card with the patient’s name, current medications and most recent EKG that allows them to “swipe in” at their appointments – and vital diagnostic equipment that saves patients trips to the hospital.
JenCare clinics are Medicare friendly. Our doctors and staff deliver superior outcomes of quality, efficiency and compassionate care. We are committed to patient care – from providing the same primary care physician at every patient visit, to providing specialist care on site, to transporting our patients to and from our facilities.
