Jason Buchan, DO

Before pursuing a career as a physician, Dr. Jason Buchan worked as a certified nursing assistant. “I developed a passion for both medical knowledge and helping people. Becoming a physician seemed like a perfect fit,” he explains. He views the doctor-patient relationship as a partnership. “Without the input of the patient, my job is difficult to do,” he says. He finds it “very rewarding” to care for the senior population. He adds, “I will always give my best effort to ensure that you feel listened to and respected.”

Dr. Buchan enjoys working on cars, playing racquetball, and spending time with his cats in his down time. He shares that prior to attending medical school, he was a professional saxophone player.
